If you’ve been here before, you may notice things look a little different. And if this is your first time visiting O’Driscoll Tech, welcome — I’m glad you’re here.

This new website is more than a fresh coat of paint. It’s a new home for O’Driscoll Tech and a better reflection of what I want this site to be: a place where technology is practical, approachable, and actually useful.

A New Site, Built Around the Same Idea

O’Driscoll Tech has always been rooted in a simple belief: technology should work for you — not the other way around.

I’ve spent years working with technology in a variety of settings, from repairing and troubleshooting computers to supporting users, managing systems, building websites, and finding solutions to the strange problems that inevitably come with our increasingly connected lives.

One thing I’ve learned along the way is that knowing how something works is only part of the job. The other part is being able to explain it, fix it, and make it useful without making technology feel more complicated than it needs to be.

That philosophy is at the heart of this new site.

More Than a Business Website

While you’ll still be able to learn about the technology services I offer and get in touch when you need help, I want O’Driscoll Tech to be more than an online business card.

This site will also be a place for me to share what I learn.

You can expect posts about technology, troubleshooting, Apple and Windows, networking, cybersecurity, websites, AI, and the countless other topics I encounter while working with technology every day. Sometimes that might mean a detailed guide to solving a particular problem. Other times it may simply be an observation about where technology is headed — or something interesting I discovered while trying to make a stubborn piece of hardware behave.

I’ll also be using this site as a home for my podcast and other projects as they develop.

If You’ve Been Here Before…

Thank you for coming back.

The website may be new, but O’Driscoll Tech isn’t starting over. This is the next version of something I’ve been building and refining for years.

My goal with the redesign was to create something that feels more like me and better represents the combination of technical knowledge, curiosity, problem-solving, and communication that I try to bring to everything I do.

There will undoubtedly be more changes along the way. Technology never stays still, and I don’t expect this site to either.

And If You’re New Here…

Welcome.

Take a look around. Read something that interests you. Check back occasionally to see what’s new. And if you’re dealing with a technology problem and think I might be able to help, feel free to reach out.

Whether you arrived here because you need technical help, found one of my articles while searching for an answer, came to listen to the podcast, or simply stumbled across the site, I hope you find something worthwhile.

Thanks for visiting the new O’Driscoll Tech.
